Terms of Sale

The agreed delivery date must be mutually accepted by both parties. If the material is available in our warehouse, we undertake to ship it within 8 days of receiving the order and payment. Any event caused by force majeure may suspend delivery terms for the entire duration of that event. Our prices and subsequent invoices do not include customs duties and import charges in your country, unless this is specified in our offer.

The goods, even if shipped carriage paid or delivered free of charge to the buyer’s premises, travel at the buyer’s risk. All our liability ends when the goods are handed over to the shipping company.

The order can be made available at the shipping company’s warehouse (C&F) closest to your location (you must collect the order yourself), as specified in our offer, or with home delivery (D.D.U.).

  • Unloading must be arranged by the recipient unless otherwise specified in our offer.
  • You must contact the shipping company before the delivery date to arrange the date and time. Customs clearance must be completed within 5 days of arrival at the customs warehouse. If you refuse delivery or delay customs clearance, you will have to pay additional shipping charges to the carrier for a new delivery or for storage costs.
  • Anyone who accepts the delivery must inspect it and sign for the order.

The order must be inspected upon delivery. We provide a detailed checklist to follow. If any materials are damaged, they must be noted on the documents in order to file an insurance claim. If these rules are not followed, insurance companies will not accept claims for damaged goods.

Order return: the customer may return the goods to us within seven days of receipt. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs (to and from our company), so we refund only the cost of the goods calculated ex-works, even if they were originally sold D.D.U. or C.I.F.

Samples and photos provide only an indication of the products offered, which may vary slightly in color and texture; therefore, differences in shade and texture cannot be considered material defects.

Warranty

Our warranty covers only the replacement of the material deemed defective, excluding any further obligation. All parties unconditionally accept the provisions of this paragraph and undertake not to dispute their validity. In the event of disputes, the Court of Bologna, Italy, shall have jurisdiction to decide, unless the seller chooses otherwise.

The above general terms and conditions of sale shall not be considered in any way as merely formal clauses. These conditions are fully effective in all respects and faithfully represent the contractual intent of the parties.

Transactions are in euros. The USD amount shown on our website is provided for information purposes only.

Credit Card Security

We are not aware of any documented cases of credit card fraud involving our online purchasing system. All credit card numbers are encrypted by the software when the order is placed using 128-bit encryption. They are decrypted only once they reach our computer. They are not stored in plain text on any website.

Privacy policy

Bettini Tiles Service does not disclose buyers’ information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site only to keep track of the contents of the cart once an item has been selected. Your privacy is guaranteed.
